Intra-State Air Travel Gets a Boost in Odisha – News12 Odisha

Bhubaneswar : Star Air will launch direct flight services between Bhubaneswar and Jharsuguda starting August 16, 2025. Bookings for this route are now open on Star Air’s official website and other major travel platforms.

According to Shilpa Bhatia, Chief Commercial Officer of Star Air, the new route will significantly enhance regional connectivity within Odisha, offering affordable and convenient travel options to passengers.

The flights will be operated using Embraer E175 aircraft, which provide a 2×2 seating layout with both business and economy class options. Passengers can also enjoy hot meals and beverages during the flight.

This move marks Star Air’s growing presence in eastern India and is expected to benefit both business and leisure travelers in the region.
