20 Injured as Passenger Bus Overturns into Canal in Dhenkanal – News12 Odisha

Bhubaneswar : At least 20 passengers were injured when a bus carrying over 50 people from Parajang to Bhubaneswar overturned near Kantiokatani in the Tumusingha police limits of Dhenkanal district.

The accident occurred when the bus lost balance and plunged into the Rengali branch canal. While the exact cause is yet to be determined, preliminary reports suggest the vehicle veered off the road unexpectedly.

Following the incident, fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot and, with the help of locals, rescued the injured passengers.

All injured victims were taken to the Anlabereni Community Health Centre for treatment. Rescue and relief efforts are continuing, and further details are awaited.
